Shield Wall Media debuted in 2019 following the purchase of four construction magazine brands by Gary Reichert, who is now the Publisher and CEO of Shield Wall Media, from F+W Media.
Shield Wall Media has now expanded to seven magazines and three shows in the construction industry, all focused on industry professionals, primarily builders and contractors. The company helps these builders and contractors run their businesses, choose their newest products, and learn new construction techniques. Manufacturers and builder/contractors are brought together with magazines and websites that help them to help each other.

In all, the seven magazines have 100,000 subscribers in the United States and Canada.
The magazines are categorized in two primary areas, roofing and building. The roofing magazines include Metal Roofing, Roofing Elements, and Rollforming Magazine. The building magazines include Rural Builder, Frame Building News, Garage Shed Carport Builder, and Metal Builder.
All of the magazines are free to qualified industry professionals.
